Pete Brettingen, DC
Born and raised in Waconia, MN, Dr. Pete earned his undergraduate degree at UW–Eau Claire before heading south to Life University in Atlanta—often called the epicenter of chiropractic. There, he completed advanced training, interned at one of Georgia’s largest pediatric practices, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017.
Dr. Pete holds advanced certifications in Torque Release Technique and Webster Technique and is a proud member of the ICPA. He owns three chiropractic practices across two states, co-leads a chiropractic mentorship retreat, and regularly speaks at conferences. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him with his wife Melissa and their three kids—Brooks, Jane, and Teddy—or enjoying hockey, golf, hunting, and fishing.
Founder, Chiropractor
Madaline Jennings, DC, CST, CLC
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Madaline has always had a heart for helping moms, babies, and growing families. After discovering chiropractic care in the Twin Cities, she fell in love with its natural ability to support the body through pregnancy, postpartum, and childhood.
She earned degrees in Kinesiology, Human Movement, and chiropractic from Miami University of Ohio, Concordia University Chicago, and Northwestern Health Sciences University. While at Northwestern, she led both the Pediatric & Pregnancy Club and the Torque Release Technique Club and was inducted into the Student Leadership Hall of Fame. Webster Certified and trained in Craniosacral Therapy, Dr. Madaline is passionate about gentle, neurologically focused care—and is currently working toward her IBCLC certification. Outside the office, she’s usually reading, spending time with friends, or cheering on hockey with her husband.
Chiropractor
Raised on a farm in western Minnesota, Dr. Brian earned his degree in Natural Science from St. John’s University before pursuing chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences. After graduating in 1987, he and his wife opened a clinic and proudly served their community for over 30 years.
Known as the town’s “baby whisperer,” Dr. Brian helped develop early pediatric neurological sEMG research still used today at Lake Life Chiropractic. He’s trained in multiple techniques—including MC2, Torque Release, Blair Upper Cervical, and Diversified—and has a special knack for complex, chronic cases. When a short retirement didn’t stick, Lake Life was happy to welcome him back. Outside the office, he’s at the lake, gardening with his wife, or spoiling his grandboys.
Chiropractor
Brian Deal, DC
A Waconia native and Minnesota girl through and through, Dr. Lauren has always loved working with babies and kids. After finding chiropractic care during her own high school sports injuries, she knew it was the perfect fit for her future.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at UW–Eau Claire—where she also led the Pre-Chiropractic Club—before heading to Life University in Atlanta to complete her doctorate alongside top pediatric and prenatal chiropractors. Before becoming a mom to twin boys in 2025, Dr. Lauren owned her own pediatric and prenatal clinic. When she’s not caring for patients (or chasing twins!), she’s enjoying coffee shops, running, skiing, boating, and everything Minnesota has to offer.
